Also you can add touches of browns and dark reds with pillows or lamps ect. Those colors would look great with dark rich brown furniture. It'll give a sophisticated and royal feel. If you not to big on these color ideas you can take your pillow case or comforter to a paint store and lay it out and throw some sample tags of colors on it to see what you like. I'd paint your walls a burnt red. Not bright red, not cranberry red, but the rusty red. If that wouldn't work out because of not enough lighting or if it's too small of a room and the color would make the space seem even smaller, then I'd go for an icicle blue. The last wall i painted dark yellow and used a grocery bag to "rag paint" metallic gold paint over the dark yellow. It ended up looking really good.
